What a start to the new year, snow everywhere. I feel sorry for all the frustrated students waiting for the weather to break. I have not done too much flying yet this year and would like to remind pilots about the dangers of flying in these recent weather conditions. ICE !!! Be aware !! It can be very dangerous. Make sure there is no ice or water laying on your aircraft before taking off and remember to double check before the take off roll.

Well so far the weather this year hasnt been quite as good as I hoped but we have still managed to get quite a bit of flying in. We now have a number of students nearing solo, just waiting for the right conditions.
